Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:32 to 2:36 and there were six seals during that time.
Out on the rock flats of LPB was an Unknown Adult: adult size and new coat, light gray female belly and two red tags.
Between 1BS and 2BS was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, new coat, light gray female belly and two red tags.
About 20 feet Makapuu of 3BS was an Adult Male: large adult size, 95% molted, dark gray male belly, not sure about tags. This could be the molting male labeled AM2 from yesterday.
About 30 feet Makapuu of the AM was an Adult Female: adult size, newer coat, light to medium gray female belly and two red tags.
Another 50 feet Makapuu of the AF was an Unknown Juvenile: larger juvenile size, two red tags, light gray belly. Marilyn could not confirm its gender.
Out on the rock flats between SRI and RRB was RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu: small adult size, new coat, light gray male belly, two red tags, scar on lower lip right side. Marilyn noticed he left the rocks flat at about 2:18/ She then saw him in the water near the Adult Female, and ultimately he hauled out at SRI and moved up the beach.
Team R&B first find was at the bay. They spotted RH76 Kala foraging off the rocks. Then she came in struggling with the big surf tossing her around. But Miss Kala was determined to stay and she did.
While on the road they spotted a seal hauling in so they quickly pulled over. There was the lovely MissLei Ola RH48. She was the seal they saw foraging in the area yesterday. Lei Ola has a green snout just like the one from yesterday.
The boys; R3CX Nalu and RH32 Kaale were in the same spot as yesterday. Nalu is about 10% into his molt.
They could not tell if Kaale has started hi molt, as they could not get a good look at his neck or belly.
Next stop they found RL20 Kalua (junior fish thief) on the rocks alone. He was busy with his head in the water blowing bubbles.
Team R&B decided to do a recheck on Nalu and Kaale from a far. That's when they saw there were three seals on shore. They hurried over and discovered R604 was with the boys. She's a smart female, probably knowing the boys are out of commission for the time being.
At another west side location they ended their day with finding three boys! Up in high rocks was RL08 alone. To the right at seal inlet were RM31 Kai and Lefty RG28.
