Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:45 to 2:05 and there were two seals during that time plus a human.
About 30 feet from 1BS was RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu: adult size, male belly and two tags. His molt is about 35%, the upper chest and part of the ventral side has new fur.
There was a human interloper on island today. It is the same throw net fishermen who goes out there frequently. He was collecting opihi today and did get close to RK24 but did not bother him.
Out on RRB was a Female Weaner: weaner size, older coat, light female belly and two red tags.
Team R&B got to witness this mornings beautiful sunrise. I'm glad they did so I can see it through their eyes.
They did find one seal at Kahe. It was RG32 alone on the rocks.
Along with a magnificent sunrise they got to enjoy the dolphins putting on the best show. There was lots of jumping, flipping, and lots of splashing.
At another west side location they spotted a seal in the shallows at water front rocks. The seal was rolling in the water then looking around, they thought it was R604 who had been there yesterday. But it was not, there was RG28 Lefty who is a day late, poor dude. They noted he may have a new CC scar by his left fore flipper.
