Team R&B's first find today was RH76 Kala. She had just come up on the rocks and the waves were pumping once again. Kala was resting and alone.
At another location they were watching the big surf looking for seals or whatever might be in the waves. Then suddenly they spotted a seal passing by. They were lucky enough to get a shot of its tag. It was gray and it was KG54 Huakai. They waited hoping she would land, but she turned and didn't haul out. They continue to look but didn't see her again.
Team R&B returned to check on Kala RH76, and they were thrilled to find another seal with her.
There was RL20 Kalua molting, they couldn't see how far along because his belly was between the rocks.
Then there was a ignorant person up close to them, the seals were aware of them. Finally they moved on and left the seals to rest.
Last stop they did a check of the area and didn't see anything, but then there was movement. It was Nalu R3CX, making his way up to higher ground because of the rough surf.
