Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1 to 2:45 today and there were only three seals. Big drop from yesterdays eight seals.
In the Lanikai corner of LPB was R7AF based on the N2 bleach on his dorsal side. Appears to be a subadult size with an old coat. She never got a look at the ventral side of rear flippers.
Down on the waterfront near a surge channel at LPB was a Subadult Female S/F: subadult size, new coat, light gray female belly and two red tags. There was no NB on the lower left side, so it doesn't appear to be RK37.
Team R&B first find was RH76 Kala. She was just coming up on the rocks. Her coat is so clean and smooth and she is finally gaining weight at last.
At another location they saw a green seal pass by looking around. They thought it looks like RH32 Kaale. He approached the rocks but noticed he struggling to get on the rocks. He tossed his head up high in the air a couple of times. Once he made it up on the rocks he stayed.
They did see a hook, embedded in his neck area on the right side. They also saw line, and do not know how long it is, he didn't move to show them anything more. Other than that is he is fat and green.
They made a stop and checked on R3CX Nalu. He is looking good, all molted, nice girth, just chilling on shore to the right of the rocks.
Last stop they spotted a head and whiskers in the rocks. The seal was well hidden, so they moved around for some different angles to get an ID. It was RP30 Puka and he is very well hidden.
