They started in early morning with Miss Kala RH76. She was alone resting on the rocks. There was a person close by not knowing a seal was there. Team R&B called out to him and he was really good about it not to mention shocked that there was a seal right there and not a rock. 

On their next check Kala was gone.

At another west side location they found Lefty RG28. He was on lower rocks snoozing, flipping over and scratching, maybe he's due to molt.  I will say the dude must be eating good cuz he's looking pretty big.

Before heading out to their Ka'ena west trek they made a stop. They spotted a seal moving around that caught their attention. It was RM31 Kai, who looks like he'll be molting soon too. 

He was still there when they came back from Ka'ena west just before sunset.

They made the trek out to Ka'ena west and found only one seal. But the critter was not alone, there were

four ladies having their photo time near the seal.  Needless to say Team R&B wasn't happy about so they stuck around. They watched as the women did their selfies and got close to the seal and then went into the water to swim close to the seal.  This would have made my blood boil and knowing Team R&B, I am sure their blood pressure was raised.  GEESH!

They ID'd the seal as weaner RQ24 Mauna, which even makes this a bit more upsetting. Team R&B stayed as long as they could before the sun set.
