HMMA Update July 24th

At 0842 a report came in about a seal hauled out across from the Hauula fire station. Don responded and found Honey girl (R5AY). ID was made by tag 5AY. Marilyn checked in at 1036 from the Alan Davis pup site reporting Kaiwi (RK96) and sleeping on the beach and PO4 (Kawena) venturing off into the water. At 1700 another report was made of a seal in Hauula across from Ching's store. The seal departed before Don arrived. Since R5AY was in the neighborhood earlier it may have her but for data purposes this report will remain an unknown.

 Karen T. checked in via email from the Turtle Bay pup site at 0820. Ua Maile (RT10) and PO5 were both asleep. They went into the water at 1025 and stayed in the pool area. Mom and pup were not disturbed by any of the TB workers while they were working around the golf course area. Dr. Tom and Dana also sent in a photo from the Turtle Bay pup site. Reporting all was well with mom and pup. Karen checked back in on her afternoon shift reporting mom and pup snoozing.
