7/4/2016 DB's Updates: Kaiwi&PO4@AD, Aukai&Kala@Rabbit Island, Nihoa&PO3@Mokuleia

Marilyn was once again at the Kaiwi&PO4 site at 0530, and ended the day with the 4-7 shift (D#19). Mahalos also to Nicole, Melanie & Gayle !!

 Melanie was hard at work on her shift dealing with Kaiwi&PO4 leaving the zone to the west for a swim. They did not haul out, and ultimately returned to the SPZ. Melanie also got a bunch of belly shots. While I don’t wanna’ risk a cat on it, I’m thinkin’ female. What do you think ???? I'll happily risk my cat... (not because I am sure... just because she's a loony toon) 

 At 0730 I found Aukai (RL12) snoozin’ in the Morning Glory , 40 ft left of 1BS on Rabbit Island.

 At 0911 Kala (RH76) became visible on the left end rock flats on RI.

 At 1600 Diane Gabriel sent shots from her stint today at Mokuleia with Nihoa&PO3, plus a visiting U/U (D#26).

 Our 4th of July birthday boy is celebrating his #2. Happy Birthday Kea (RN46)!
