At 0759 I found a group of three on Rabbit Island. RM38 & Kolohe (RW22) were up at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS, and Kimo Kai (RT12) was on the beach below them. All would ultimately move down and snoozed away the day.
When I got back to Makai Pier after a Right Spot check, at 1124, I saw that there were two new arrivals on RI. Kainoa (RN04) had join the three at the left end, and Kea (RN46) was alone , fronting 3BS.
At 1124 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96), once again hiding in the Naupaka at China Walls.
At 0616 Team Billand checked in with the morning Benny (RE74)&Buster (RV08) report. They were 3 ft apart, at #1708. Benny would depart at 0645, and Buster would depart later at 1405.
Marilyn & Lesley did the usual Saturday, End of the World trek. They were rewarded by finding RW02 & a molting Ka’ena at the point.
Team Billand called at 1645 with the report of RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.
The Billands advised of a text from Dana of Pohaku (RO28)at Nanakuli, at 1736.
