My day began with a check of Hanauma Bay at 0625. Being Tuesday the Bay is closed. I found Buster (RV08) snuggled up to the base of the cliff on the left side rock flats. He is there on a irregularly regular basis. As it turned out it would be Barack & Buster day. They had the place all to themselves.
Rabbit Island was not quite as happening as in previous day. The cast would turn out to be Kimo Kai (RT12) at the left end at 0832, and later in the day, at 1152 I spied a barely visible animal behind the water front rocks at the right end. Unfortunately, it remained barely visible all day. It looked like a new coat but that is all I can say.
At 1200 Gayle checked in with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls.
Team Billand called at 0625 with the report of Benny (RE74) at Paradise Cove. Mahalos to Warren & Zuly ! Per Zuly, Benny departed at 1635.
At 0818 the Billands once again found Pohaku (RO28) doing 6-7 minute dives at Campbell Industrial Park.
Their next find came at 1158 when they discovered Kekoa (RK72) & RIP (RR70) once again at Maili Point.
Tammy T., and hubby did the End of the World trek today, and found Ka’ena (RO40), RL42 & RW02.
A 1227 Colleen text brought the report that she & her seal (Rocky, RH58) were enjoying a beautiful beach day below the lighthouse at Diamond Head.
