At 1049 I found what turned out to be Kolohe (RW22) & Kimo Kai (RT12) on the waterfront rocks fronting 3BS. Kolohe remained there all day, however Kimo Kai would relocate to IBS at 1134 and then galumph over to check out RM38 & Duke. Kimo K & Duke would enter the water at 1153 and rolled in the shore break, playing for a while, but then at 1259 both hauled out fronting 1BS.
A call from Ocean Safety advised of an animal at Nanakuli. I notified the Billands and at 1012 they confirmed the Pohaku ID.
At 1127 a Diane Gabriel text brought word of the arrival of Nihoa (R912) to Right Spot’s Spot, Turtle Bay.
Duke and Kimo Kai
how cute are these two?
