At 0849 Kimo Kai (RT12) hauled out and galumphed up to joing Kolohe. After a snooze Kimo K moved down to the beach at the left end. Later Kolohe would move down to join him.
I had many dozens of pans of the beach, but on one such pan at 1200 I suddenly became aware of a likely looking brown patch in the Morning Glory directly fronting 3BS. Sure enough it was RM38. He had been there all along, but I didn’t pick him up until noon.
At 1255 Kea (RN46) came galumphing out of the shorebreak and continue up to the log, left of 1BS. The entire cast remained all day.
The Billands got a call at 0530 about an animal at Paradise Cove. At 0555 it would prove to be Benny (RE74). Warren would later advise them that Benny departed at 0638.
A Diane Gabriel text at 1010 advised of her find of Holokai (RG40) at the Keiki Pool. Diane T. advised that Holokai departed at 1800.
The Billands got quick look at Benny at Nanakai Beach at 1444, but he departed due to a fisherman. The would find him again at another location at Guard Rails, Maili at 1454.
The Billands got call at 1513 about an animal newly arrived to White Plains. They arrived to find the animal had departed, however thanks to photo sent by posse member Kelly, it appears to have been Buster (RV08) hauling out to #1707, his usual WP hang out. Since his pal Benny wasn’t there I guess he decided not to stay.
Tammy & Dave T., did the End of the World trek today and thankfully made a few finds. First was Luana (RN58) at Hidden Beach, on the way in. She was gone at noon on their way out. At the point they documented Aukai (RL12), in the company of Ka’ena (RO40) & RW02.
A Diane Gabriel text at 1756 brought word that Nihoa (R912) had just arrived to Kuilima Cove, Turtle Bay. Diane T was responding.
