When I got back to Makai Pier at 0807 all three of those guys were now on the left end rock flats. Duke & Kimo Kai were trying to get Kolohe to go play, but he wasn’t goin’ for it. They gave up and took off, only to return a bit later to rejoin Kolohe. All three would remain there the rest of the day.
On a pan at 0815 I was checking the vegetation closely fronting 3BS, and sure enough, there was RM38 once again today. He still has not begun his molt but he is sure close to it.
On a pan at 1134 I found a smallish animal newly arrived to the far left end of RI. It would take some time but finally he showed me that beautiful RFF natural bleach. It was Kea (RN46).
At 0648 Team Billand reported Buster (RV08) at #1708, White Plains. He would depart due to weed eater at 0755.
At 1325 the Billands found RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.
A Jon Gelman email brought word of R5AY at Right Spot’s Spot, Turtle Bay. He found her at 0930 and just a few moments later another animal arrived to join her but quickly moved a short way away. R5AY entered the water at 1000 and the U/U followed. The both swam out to deep water and he did not see them again.
