On a pan a 0841 I found Cass (RG06) hauling out to the water front rocks, 50 ft left of Seal Rock Inlet. She would remain there all day.
Despite 2 passes through the rest of the SE quadrant, no other animals were found.
A 0739 Team Billand reported Nihoa (R912) in Kaupuni Stream. She would later relocate to Waianae Rest Camp.
At 0838 the Billands found Pohaku (RO28)&Temp319, together at Nanakuli Beach Park.
At 0935 Lesley M., called to advise that Makaiwi was gone from yesterday’s location in Mokuleia.
At 0910 a call from Ocean Safety would explain her absence from Lesley’s side. The Billands responded to a Ocean Safety call of 2 animals at the Waianae Rest Camp. A 0934 they would confirm the animals as Makaiwi (R4DE)&Nihoa (R912).
My favorite Intern, Sam Murphy, was once again at The End of the World today. She reported RW02, Ka’ena (RO40), and an U/M, at Ka’ena Point. Awaiting photos.
At 1105 Team Billand found Kekoa (RK72) at the Reef Runway.
