At 0714 I found Kolohe (RW22) at Buster Flats, Lanai Lookout. He was gone when I got back for a 1327 recheck, due to a high, high tide.
Team Billand called at 0928 with the report of Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point. Robert suffered a few wounds in the process, but heck... it just ain’t a routine day unless ya’ bleed a little !
Melanie checked in on her way to Ua&Holokai duty to report La’akea (RK82) near Right Spot’s Spot , & Ua & Holokai at the Keiki Pool.
The highlight of the day came with a call from Tracy at 1540. She and Mark were on Molokai to tag M&M’s grandson (RW30 mom). He is now RG32/33. Highlight though that may be, we ain’t even there yet. Tracy advised that in the tide pool with RG32, was KERBY (RW08) !!!! Kerby, a Rabbit Island boy at birth, moved off to Ka’ena Pt at 5 months old, and then moved to Kauai where he has been seen for some time now.He is now a 7 year old. His last sighting was on Kauai on 6-6-15. Now we know why. He has discovered those hot , young Molokai chicks. Tracy also advised that they had also seen another Oahu boy on this trip. Mojo (RI17), my #2 RI son, has been a Molokai resident for some time now, but comes home occasionally. Thanks Tracy ! Ya’ made my whole day !!
In the Yesterday’s News department I have an Oooops! To fess’ up to. La’akea RK82) turned 4 yesterday, and I neglected to put it in the blog. Sorry, La’akea.
