At 0914 I noticed that there were 2 animals playing in the near shore waters fronting Kainoa’s entry point. They would prove to be Kainoa and Cass (RG06). Their swim session ranged from 1BS to 2BS, and at 1116 both hauled out together to the left end of the beach, where they remained the rest of the day.
At 1312 on my afternoon rounds , I pulled in to Blowhole and immediately saw an animal at the BH end of Sandy Beach. I relocated to SB, and trekked to the site to put up a proper cordon around Buster. Though my signs from Blowhole Cove had been moved to Buster’s location, no call to the Hotline, or notification to the SB Lifeguards, so that they could notify me, or the Hotline, had been done. I could clearly see the person responsible . The game continue. Buster remains at dark.
Ms Whisperer trudged to The End of the World again today. She had a bumper croppa’ critters, and met posse member Rikki in the process. She found Luana (RN58) on the way in (and out) at Hidden Beach. At the point she found Ka’ena (RO40), RW02, RIP (RR70) and Temp 319, showing a new fishing line wound at the right side of his mouth. There was lots of action reported between all three of the males at the point. Rikki had said she found RL42 at the 20 minute mark on the Waianae side trail, and on her way out Marilyn saw RL42 at Ka’ena’s Pool, as well as R330 (Squinty ) 50 yds east of BG’s pool .
At 1050 Team Billand reported Kimo Kai (RT12) at Yoke’s. He was said to have been hassled all day, and was gone at 1400. The Billands are stuck in traffic. Check the blog in the morning for their day.
Diane Gabriel sent shots of her day at Turtle Bay. She had a molting La’akea (RK82) near Right Spot’s Spot (65%molted), and Ua & Holokai at the Keiki Pool.
