Also at 0628 I found what would prove to be Aukai (RL12) in the Morning Glory , 30 ft right of 3BS. She would move down and remained there all day.
At 0806 Kolohe (RW22) would haul out to the far left end of the left rock flats.
At 0823, on a routine pan, I found what would prove to be RM38 on the water front rocks , 80 ft right of 3BS on RI: He would later do a brief check in with Kolohe at the left rock flats, but would quickly depart. I did not see him again today.
Team Billand reported Kimo Kai (RT12) at Maili Guard Rails at 0655. The highlight of my day came with a call from Barbara at 1630, passing on an email from Mary Miyashiro, on Kauai, who advise that Kimo Kai was the 2010 son of Rocky (RH58). Yes.......... our Rocky (one of the many sons of Rocky !!) I hadn’t checked that factoid. Thank you ..............very much to Mary !!
At 0917 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) at Ranches, on the west side.
A Dana email advised that Jeannie Martinson had reported Right Spot (R016) at Kawela Bay.
At 0952 I recieved word that RF28 had been loaded up the the Coast Guard station at Kalaeloa, and was on his way back to Kauai, after his successful fish hook removal.
Dana forwarded Ka’ena Point shots from today, from volunteer & posse member Tammy Turgeau & hubby. They found RIP (RR70), Ka’ena and little brother Ka’ena (RO40) as well as RL42 at The End of the World. Thank you Targeaus..... Ya’ Done Good !!
