So here's yesterday's dailies .... today!
On my first look at Rabbit Island I found Sadie&PO2(RB12)(D#30)at 0658 just entering the water, 60 ft left of 1BS. They would haul out at 0836. There would be additional swim session. From 0923-1047, & 1221-1358. Each swim was followed by a feed and a snooze. Still unable to get a decent look at the pup’s belly.
I returned to Makai Pier for round #2 at 0836, and found an adult male animal on the left end rock flats. It would take some time but ultimately that beautiful transmitter came into view and a bit later the transmitter scar from his 1st transmitter , told me that it was my 1st born son , RIP (RR70).
Also at 0836 I found what would prove to be Aukai (RL12) 40 ft right of 3BS.
RIP would depart the left flats at 0945, and immediately came into contact with Sadie&PO2 in the waters at the left end. Sadie dispatched him with ease. RIP would then swim down to 3BS where he hauled out to join Aukai. He would doggedly pursue her as she tried to maintain some distance from him. He finally got the him (kinda’/sorta’) at 1035 and they settled into snooze mode. Both remained all day, moving up with the tide.
At 0619 Team Billand reported Nihoa (R912) at the mouth of the Maipalaoa Canal, Maili. She was gone when the passed by at 0741.
At 0659 the found Kolohe (RW22) trolling for chicks, passing Maili Guard Rails. They would find him again, this time in the company of Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point, at 0806.
At 0745 Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal at Kaimana Beach. Dana would confirm the Rocky (RH59) ID at 0903.
At 1350, Melanie Chun called, followed closely by a ColleenTxt, both reporting Buster (RV08) at Diamond Head. Thank you to both. Ya’ Done Good !!!
Team Billand forwarded shots from Mary Miyashiro of Kerby (RW08) taken today, of our boy Kerby (RW08) . He has a new wound on his muzzle. Cause unknown.
In the Yesterday’s News department Chicago posse member Bobbi Johnson, sent photos from her encounter with R5AY in Hauula on 5-14-15.

Dear Blog Lady I hope this finds you well, I was a little concerned when I didn't see the blog from yesterday.
I was happy to see it today.
I thank you from the mainland.
thank you madhatter !!
I am plugging along.... It was very frustrating not to get the blog done and worse to not be able to let people know.
