2/21/2015 DB's Dailies: U/M&Kainoa@RI, DB, Haupu&Nihoa@Maipalaoa, Pohaku@Makaha, Team Billand

On the road at 0645, but it would be 0839 before I found somebody. Unfortunately, it would prove to be an U/M (probably yesterday’s animal) at the left end of Rabbit Island. It started in the Morning Glory left of 1BS, and then move down and then in the water. I never got a good look.

 At 0915 Kainoa (RN04) hauled out fronting 3BS on RI. He would move up into the Morning Glory where he snoozed until moving down to cool off , mid day.

 Despite, Marilyn, Gayle & myself combing the SE quadrant, that would be the cast for today.

 At 0702 Team Billand reported Haupu (RB24) once again at the Maipalaoa Canal in Maili

 At 0815 they got word of an animal at the Makaha Surfside Condo. It would prove to be Pohaku (RO28).

 At 1040 the Billands got a call about an animal at Makaha surfing beach. Today is the Buffalo Big Board extravaganza, so there was nobody there amongst the hordes when they arrived.

 At 1107 they reported Nihoa (R912) hauled out the the Uleawa’s side of the Maipalaoa Canal.
