2/9/2015 DB's Dailies: Kainoa@RI, Kea@BH, Rocky@DH, Haupu@Maili, Nihoa@Makaha, RIP@Maili Pt., La'akea & Right Spot@Turtle Bay

I was on the road at 0645. On my 0700 Blowhole check nobody was there so I hump down and picked up the signs. Upon my return for a 0855 Blowhole check, Kea (RN46) was now there, so I humped down once again and put up the signs. He has remained all day.]

 At 0744 I found Kainoa (RN04) fronting 3BS on Rabbit Island. He would be the sole RI resident today.

 At 0845 Team Billand reported Nihoa (R912) at Makaha Surfside. Debbie advised the Billands that Nihoa remains at dark.

At 1040 they reported Haupu (RB24) floating in the Maipalaoa Canal, Maili. She would haul out at 1050, and departed at 1500.

 Diane Gabriel checked in at 1129 with the report of Right Spot (R016) at Kaihalulu Beach, Turtle Bay, slightly closer to the hotel than her usual location at “Right Spot’s Spot”, but that was because RSS was being used by her daughter La’akea (RK82) . Incidently, La’akea was the animal reported at “the elbow” the last coupla’ days. Somehow I never got the word. Thank you Diga !!

At 1454 Team Billand called with the report of RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.

Numerous texts through the day from my very most favorite Diamond Headite ,Colleen Heyer, advised that Rocky (RH58) had overnighted, and has remained the day. As of her 1500 text Rocky was still there. Her 1800 text advised that Rocky was gone. Tanx Eh Colleen !!

 A 1903 text from Dana advised that Benny (RE74) had hauled out to Paradise Cove. She reported he looked healthy & well.
