At 0712 I found Aukai (RL12) at the log, up in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS on Rabbit Island.
When I got back to the pier at 0825 I found Kainoa (RN04), 80 ft right of 3BS. He is no doubt yesterday’s U/U at the same location.
Marilyn was out on the hunt this morning, and though she found nobody, she did speak with posse member Trish , at China Walls, who promised to call if anyone showed up. True to her word Trish called at 1140 to advise that an animal had just arrived to CW. Gayle responded and at 1207 confirmed the Buster (RV08) ID. Malahos to both Trish & Gayle. (Missus W is , of course , on that list too)
At 1345 my new Kaupo Beach Park posse person called to advise that an animal had arrived at KPB. When I arrived at 1414 I found BG (R303) on the rocks forming the Makai Pier side of the fish pond at KPB. She was in a great spot, nearly inaccessible, and nobody had a clue she was there. Sometimes nothing is the best thing to do . She remains at dark.
At 1228 DanaMail brought an updated Benny Map from Charles. He appears to still be in the Diamond Head area. There is no doubt in my mind that Benny is in my immediate future, but (OBK)... Only Benny Knows when that will be. He certainly appears to be headed this way.
Team Billand checked in ate 0717 with the report of Haupu (RB24) once again in floating mode, at the Maipalaoa Canal in Maili. She would haul out to the Uleawa side of the canal at 1455. They seem to have had the usual numbers of holiday idiots.
At 0935 they got a call about an animal at Secrets. They confirmed the Kolohe (RW22) ID at 1007.
A Dana call at 1940 brought word that Benny (RE74) had hauled out to Kaimana Beach, in Waikiki.
