2-12-2014 DB's Dailies: Kainoa,Kekoa,RK36 & Nani @ RI, Kermit@KR, RIP,Haupu,M&M @ WP, Ua Malie@Kahuku, R5AY&Meli,Kaikaina&RI37@TB

At 0726 I found Kekoa (RK72) at Seal Rock Inlet.

　

When I got back to Makai Pier at 0923 I found that RK36 had joined him. At that same time I found Nani (RK60) at Rocky Right Beach. There is little doubt in my mind that they were yesterday’s unknowns.

　

At 1025 Kainoa (RN04) hauled out fronting 1BS on RI.

　

At 0732 Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) foraging off shore of Kermit’s Reef. He hauled out for the day at 0809.

　

At 1030 they reported Haupu (RB24 at Tower#1, White Plains.

　

At 1443 they reported that RIP (RR70) had joined Haupu. Both would leave at 1530.

　

At 1447 the Billands reported M&M (R020) fronting #1708, WP.

Email from Karen Rohter brought shots from her trek with her hiking group, from somewhere in the Kahuku Golf Course area to Kawela Bay. It exhausts me just to type the words. She found critters along the way. The highlight for me was her finding Ua Malie (RT10) just TB side of High Rock. Ua was last reported on 6-7-13. She also found R5AY &Meli at the birth site, along with what I’m guessing is Kaikaina (RL54). Closer to the hotel she found RI37.
