6-22-2013 DB's Dailies: Kainoa&Kolohe@ RI, Buster@SB, Ka'ena,RIP&Benny@KP, Irma@DH, Right Spot@Shark's Cove, 2AW@Makua,RL42@Makua Cliffs

On my 2nd look at Rabbit Island I found Kolohe (RW22) at Seal Rock Inlet.

At 0954 to my great joy I found Kainoa (RN04)) newly hauled out to the far left end of the beach on RI. Not having seen the boy in a coupla' days, it was comforting to see him again.

At 1017 body surfer posse member Mike called to advise that there was an animal at Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1026 I found Buster (RV08) fronting the Half Point break. He has remained the rest of the day. Buster departed at 1816.

At 0627 posse member Stephen checked in to advise that he had walked Waikiki, and had found no fat chicks. Well, at least no Irma anyway.

A call from Dera at 1137 brought word that Irma (R010) was near Colleen's house at Diamond Head. Stacey checked the beach at 1416 on a rising high (2.5) high tide and found no beach and nobody. Dana called at 1507 to advise that Irma had relocated to below the lighthouse at DH. Karen Rohter confirmed the Irma ID at 1543.

Marilyn did the Ka'ena Pt trek today and called at 0949 with the report of Ka'ena (RO40) near Ka'ena's Pool. He would depart at 1127.

At 1127 she reported RIP (RR70) just arriving to the main pool.

On her way out she discovered Benny (RE74) at almost the half way point on the Waianae side trail.

At 1137 Dera reported "N6", Right Spot (R016) at Shark's Cove.

Team Billand reported 2AW at Makua at 1503.

At 1625 the Billands found RL42 foraging off shore of Makua Cliffs.

Email from Dana brought news that Pohaku (RO28) has weaned her son on Kauai. The shots with the email are from 6-20-13. I'm assuming that was the weaning date.
