6-11-2013 DB's Dailies:

At 0717 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) and Buster (RV08) together at Spitting Cave. Marilyn also responded, and advised that Buster departed around 0820, and Kaiwi remained. Posse member Christian saw Kaiwi there around noon.

Though I arrived at Makai Pier at 0800, it would be 1334 before my first critter encounter. 

At 1334 an animal hauled out to the far left end of the beach on Rabbit Island. It would prove to be RK36. His right fore flipper scar and scar just behind the RFF, confirmed the RK36 ID.

When I panned down the beach at1334 I found Kainoa (RN04) newly hauled out , 80 ft right of 3BS. Both would remain the rest of the day.

At 1425 on a Buster Flats recheck, I found Buster (RV08) snoozin' there.

Team Billand reported M&M (R020) at the White Plains showers at 0755. Though the covered the territory today, M&M was their only find, until Barbara called at 1929 to advise that R018 had just hauled out to #1708. It sounds like they'll be workin' late so check the blog in the morning for the Billands shots.

Dera called at 0945 with the report of R5AY in Hauula. Photos from Jessica Smith confirmed the R5AY ID.
