Thank you Liz Weske for sending the pics of RI37 @ Shark's Cove.... Liz mentioned that while she was there the little bugger didn't move very much. Funny none of the shots show her big scar on her hind quarters and even the tail shot she has her tag tucked in... That's okay, Liz you still sent us some great shots of this little cutie, who is looking very round... it will be interesting to see if she gets pregnant this year. ~donna~

Do you know how old this seal is? Do you know who her mother was? Where was this seal born? Was is Oahu? I didn't see it in the Bio's

RI37 was born on Kauai in May of 2005... she is the first "recorded" child of R5AY... there was a report of her on Molokai from 12/27/08, however the first reported sighting (as far as this blog) is February 2009.
As far as the Bio... well yes, they need to be updated and we're working on it... Interestingly the data is there, but it required some digging, and then again, we have the seal whisperer who can usually answer most of our questions.
