The Rabbit Island cast for today was composed of M38, Duke, Kolohe and last but certainly not least, Makana.

I happened to be checking Makapuu Beach from the overview at 1035 and lo and behold Irma hauled out to the middle of the beach. She remained all day. I was doing an Irma check at 1400 from the overview ,and happened to see a guy getting out of the water, and walk up and spend time reading on of the signs. He then proceeded to walk right in to the cordoned area, and stopped and stood a foot from Irma. Thankfully, she did not respond . He then truddled off. I picked up the rope at 1900. Irma was still there.

A DOCARE Incident began on RI with the arrival of a 2-man , yellow kayak, with a couple on board. The

explored end to end and in so doing bothered M38, who postured and barked. They thought it was hilarious, as they ran in fear. They passed Duke and later Makana, but seemed to be unaware that the animals we

re there. They were met by DOCARE Officer, Woody, upon their return to Kaupo Beach Park, and cited.

It was a really busy little day out west. Team Billand reported RO28 at Maili Pt at 0906 and called just a few minutes later to say that Benny had just hauled out to join her.  Next they 2AW at Tracks, and a bit further down the beach found RI37.  Next they reported Kermit at White Plains, once again fronting #1706.  On their Campbell Industrial Park check at 1223 the found yet another new, little (1 y.o. or less), untagged male. Just as with Makana, nobody has a clue at this point.

Sean the fanatic bleacher , went nuts and got alot done. Benny has his N26 renewed, RO28 got an N28

bleach, RI37 got an N29, and the new kid on the block is now N30.

Dera called at 1320 looking for my guess as to who might be in the trough at the end of Magic Island.............DUH ???? Dera responded and confirmed, who else....Rocky at 1420.  At 1444 Dera called again with the report of an animal in Waialua. Kelly Evans came through with confirmation photos of KC. 
Yet another Dera call at 1617 advised of an animal at "Right Spot's spot" at Turtle Bay. An R5AY ID was confirmed.
