It was pure JOY having to show the Bloys, Kaena Pt. BUT, there were no seals out there whatsoever!! What is going on at Kaena Pt??? WHere have our beloved Seals GONE??? I never saw any wallows, no trails of a seals gaumphing about, NOTHING. We only found one sickly looking Boobie sitting at the point, alone. Conditions were great, not too hot, tide was low, waves were maginficent. I worry. Not even KAENA R040 was HOME, Where are they????? I felt so bad, the Bloys wanted to do Kaena Pt trek all this time, make the trek, before they left Oahu, and NOTHING OUT THERE!! SO, Rob and I took em to Plains and Maili just to meet Kermit, who is now molting. And Pohaku that pretty female, who was just around the corner of Benny who showed up late. There, Bloys met a few of our seals on Oahu. Wait, they met Benny already on Molokai visits. Well, I hope the Kenyons and Mrs Dunlap, find somebody soon. I am worried about our Kaena Pt seals. It was a ghost town out there. And the albatross, didnt greet us as they normally do. They were there, busy nesting. Lady told us, in three weeks the eggs should be hatching. We did see some far away humpbacks, no breaching tho. I hope Kaena Pt isnt changing for some reason, I want it to remain a safe place for our critters. I so missed Kaena, Kerby, T15M, BG, Kiko, Ceecee, and more. So long Bloys, it was certainly a pleasure to be with you guys, we were happy we shared the day with ya. God bless you both, come back soon..and Happy New Year to ya both. HEY DIANE...Hugs to ya out at Molokai.
