Hadnt seen 2AW for a very long time. He was in the company of I37yesterday. 2AW WAS about 40 feet from her in the AM, but in the afternoon, on a recheck, he was trying to get her attention. BUT..I37 wasnt interested at all. She played hard to get. 2AW came within Five feet of her, he went in the water, keeping his eyes on I37 the whole time. THen, the cutest thing, he went up to her, around the rocks, put his head on the rocks in front of her FACE. She still didnt move. HE mooed her, still nothing. SO, he then went around the rocks, came up to I37, mooed her again, this time she turned to look at him, that was it. He went back in the water, came around to the tidal pool he was originally in, POOPED for her. Waves took it all away. Thats where he layed, nothing romantic went on. But 2AW was a real gentlemen...oh, I love doing this stuff. AND...I got to compare the scars of both animals. If you look good, they both have the PROP scars, I assume from a boat. I37's scar is closer to ankle area, goes under her belly. 2AW's scar is farther from the ankle area, and stops right. He also has another scar on left side. Both poor animals survived what ever caused those wounds. Amazing. And I thought it to be amazing, two prop scarred animals, meeting. What will the pups looks like, I wondered? Just thought that interesting to observe. Both animals remained on the rocks, we had to leave, SHUCKS!
