Hey, glad you id'd the mystery seal molting out there at the Stables. Now, is someone going to hunt for the fat little girl, Ua Malie???? In the dailys, no one found her yesterday???? We last saw her at around after 5pm, snoozing away at the last big beach near the point. She looked so beautiful and comfortalbe. She was moving up for the night it seemed. We also met volunteer Kelly, guarding Ua..it was nice meeting Kelly. She caught the bus to the site, rode her bike...WOW that is amazingly dedicated. Well, just hope someone finds the kid again. I am a worry wort, ALWAYS, and Ua Malie has grown on us the first day we met her little body next to R5AY. Maybe she just went hunting for a delicious meal. Or maybe she went futher around the point, thats what Kelly told us she done the other day. Good luck out there...hope she is snoozing behing a rock, hiding, blending in the rocks. Prayers to Ua Malie!! Love you kid...she is SO SPECIAL!!!
I also want to say, THANKS to all the many volunteers for taking such GREAT CARE of Ua, allllll those weeks...each of you are very specail folks, giving so much to Ua Malie...that special soul on shore at Turtle Bay.
