9/11/2010 DB Dailies

Kolohe would be the only observed Rabbit Island resident today. He began at 3BS, and relocated to 100 ft left of 1BS. As of 1630 there was no Sam sighting.

At 1600 I found Buster in the cove on the Sandy Beach side of the Blowhole Lookout. Despite frantic waving I could no stop the couple who discovered him on their trek from SB to BH (and back). Buster remained.

Team Billand had a hectic start to their day, beginning at 0748 with Kermit looking at Kermit's Reef, but not hauling out. He was move to the fence line at White Plains at 0856. He would be joined at 0939 by Benny. Chaos immediately ensued. The went at in on land and then continued in the water as they began moving to the west.

At 1047 the Billands found Benny in the company of Irma at "Al's Bench " , Kalaeloa Campground. They would be run off at 1445.

Kermit discovered Rocky at 1143 at Nimitz Beach. She had hauled out there at 1010. They remained all day, and were moving up at the end of day. An overnighter may be possible.

Marilyn did the Ka'ena Point trek, and found Kerby, Ka'ena, T15M and BG at the end of the world. It appears as though Ka'ena has rid himself of the flipper hook.

Dana called at 1521 to advise that Ua Malie had spent the day on the TB side of the point. Diane Gabriel has provided more excellent shots.
