Thanks to Team Billand for these incrediable shots.... Its amazing to see them in this state, we so use to seeing them snoozing or swimming. Be aware anyone should stand clear especially when you have two males sparring over a female... Geesh Irma just got home, let her rest for goodness sakes.

Just want to thank the lifeguards for coming to help put out the signs and warn people of the seals on shore, battling it out allll day, helping the divers to go the other way when Benny attacked them trying to come out of the water. Wow, Benny guarded Irma alll day. He was fierce. I felt very sorry for Kermit, who really wanted to be with HIS Irma. We knew they were coming, we knew Irma would be escorted with Kermit, just didnt think Benny would be there FIRST!! Kermit watched from a far..letting wild Benny go bananas guarding, Irma. Benny used a lot of energy, He was INSANELY wild. We came to site, jumped down the little step to see around the corner and Benny came like he was on skates, growling, barking, foaming at the mouth...Holy Smokes, just WILD. So, from the start we knew, this could be a dangerous situation and made the boundary large. Kermit must have traveled over 100feet, ON LAND, galumphing all the way to Irma, just to be fought with, by Benny. It wasnt just on shore battles, it was in the water, on the jagged rocks, on the reef..alll day long. Very intence viewing, we were nervous about the rocks, they were so sharp. After 7pm, we HAD TO GO. And we could still hear the roaring sounds from our parked car. Simply INCREDIBLE!! Spooky. I feel sad, Kemit never got to Irma, Benny would NOT LET HIM. Will they show up at the same location, or, will they go to WHITE PLAINS???? If white Plains, HELP US ALL!!!!!!!!! Wouldnt ya know, its a three day weekend.
