Out on the west side Team R&B did their search. They were happy to finally see a seal in the water foraging. And the water looked better than it has been looking. The seal was RU40 Wai. HE never landed while they were there.
They had an appointment but were able to make a quick stop at the outfall. They spotted two seals foraging together. They couldn't make an ID on either of them other than they were adults. They were reported as Unknowns.
They stop to look at a sign that indicated there was whale carcass in the area.
Before heading out for their appointment they made a stop at plains. There was a male and female on shore. They were having a hard time IDing the male but then they noticed the applied bleach on his side. That's when they figured out it was EG32. They were surprised to see him, as they had never seen him on this beach before. He was in the company of Miss Aukai RL12.
After their appointment they went to check out a few spots. They did come across the whale carcass, and weren't sure what type of whale it was. There were lots of sharks in the area.
Very late in the day they saw a seal landing on shore at electric beach. There were lots of people on shore at the beach and no one moved on out of the way. The seal was an adult, not sure about tags or its sex. The seal kept moving up on shore and finally people picked up their things and moved.
