Team R&B had appointments today. They made a quick stop by pokai and they noted that over the last couple of days crews were out surveying the Jetty. There is talk about repairs to the area. The jetty was damaged from the hurricane in 1992. Good news work will get done, bad news what the heck took so long.

While in the city they stopped and saw some Fairy Terns.  

After their appointment they made it out to electric beach. From afar they spotted a seal briefly onshore.

They did their best to get a photo for an ID, but folks got in the way and the seal left. They reported the seal as an Unknown Adult.

At pokai they were happy to see a seal resting in the zen area. It was their lovely Miss Kala RH76. She was alone and resting peacefully.

At yoks they saw the whales far out. Seeing the whales made for a perfect ending to the day.
