January 25, 2026 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:01 to 1:12 pm and there were three seals seen during that time.
Between Middle Cliff and the 3BS down among waterfront rocks was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, older coat, yellowish-brown female belly, no info on tags.
Near each other between the 3BS and SRI were two seals:
R7AF: adult size, gray male belly, at least one tag and an applied N61 bleach on the right rear side.
Adult Male: adult size, gray male belly, at least one red tag, partial C scar on right side of penial notch. Marilyn feels she should know who this seal is, but for now listed as adult male.

Team R&B started their day finding RH76 Miss Kala. She was alone at pokai and looking quite chubby today.
They spotted multiple seals foraging/fighting just off the outfall area. They were  able to ID RM31 Kai. He was the only id but they did
catch two seals playing together.
Just when they were ready to give up they spotted seal hauling out at Electric Beacch. It was RS32 and she had a lot of fabs visiting her today.
Over at Kahe they spotted a seal coming in towards the rocks. When they got to the area the seal kept going, so they weren't able to get an ID. The seal was reported as an Unknown Adult.
They had been watching people all day. They saw lots of folks running toward the Pavillion. They saw the lifeguards running with cones and a sign. Sure enough there was a seal. Hauling up on shore with all those people around. It was RN14 Kalani. The guards put out cones and a sign.

They were about to leave again but noticed  the boats by the buoy. There were whales!!
They watched and there were so many they couldn't keep track, The whales were speeding, spouting, head lunged, fluke up dives, bubbles. It was a heat run, competition pod.  Each whale was so close to each other, like hitting one another, went down and disappeared.  They watched for over an hour.
