Team R&B started out at pokai and found the lovely Miss Kala RH76. She was way up on shore in a deep snooze. When they went back later in the day she was gone.
They spotted R3CX Nalu foraging in the area. As far as they could tell he was alone. This weather definitely makes searching for the seals a challenge, between the mud, puddles and cold. Here's hoping we get clear skies ahead.
Next they spotted a seal from afar that was on shore at electric beach. The seal was a big male, or as they called him a big bugga! The seal was RH32 Kaale.
While they were watching Nalu who was still foraging they noticed the rain coming in after about 45 minutes. So they hurried for cover. But then out of no where they spotted a small seal foraging. Of course they had to figure out which one of the youngen was out there. They took a bunch of photos hoping to capture something. Finally the seal threw up its hind flippers and they got the money shot. There was RU12 foraging with "uncle" Nalu.
