Team R&B waited for the rain to stop and eventually they went out while it was still raining. They couldn't keep themselves away. Their first find was the lovely Kala RH76 snoozing alone on this cold rainy day.
They heard seals so they headed over and saw a young seal, but no ID. The other was an adult but no ID, they did not see either of them again.
On their travels they saw there was a boat run aground at Nanakuli. Large fishing boat full of gear washed up on shore. DLNR and Coast Guard were on site with the owner of the boat.
Making their way over to yoks they spotted RG28 Lefty. He was way up on shore snoozing alone. He is about 80% molted, just his butt area is left to molt.
They were happy to see a very big healthy turtle on shore alive and well without any lines or hooks.
They headed back to check on RH76 and she was still in the same spot. They did see R3CX Nalu out foraging in the rain. He was alone today filling his belly. Team R&B sat at one location for a while waiting for the rain to stop. They were hoping to see whales, dolphins or more seals, but it wasn't in the cards. They brought a close to this stormy day.
