9/21/2014 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Kainoa,Kaiwi,Kekoa&U/M@R, Pohaku@PC, Rocky@Kaimana, RL42@Makau Cliffs, Nihoa@Keaau's

At 0700 I found Aukai (RL12) in the Morning Glory left of 1BS, Kainoa (RN04) right of 1BS, and Kaiwi (RK96) 60 ft left of Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Each of those would enter the water at individual times, and haul out through the day at other locations.

 At 0725 Kekoa (RK72) would join the cast, initially joining Kaiwi, but managing to haul out with each of the others through the day.

 At 1115, as Aukai, Kekoa & Kainoa were beginning to haul out at 1BS, they were suddenly joined by an U/U briefly, causing Kainoa to depart the scene. The U/U elected to depart, and at 1141 I found that it was an U/M who had now hauled out to the water front rocks on the right side of Seal Rock Inlet. He hit a position with his dark , male belly to me and never moved. I was not able to confirm an ID. Maybe tomorrow ?????

 At 0648 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) between Paradise Cove & Lani’s.

 At 0709 Diane T., called with the report of Rocky (RH58) at Kaimana. She had apparently arrived after dark last night.

 At 1416 the Billand reported RL42 at Makua Cliffs.

 At 1425 they found Nihoa (R912) at Keaau’s.
