At 0914 Nani (RK60) hauled out to Right Middle Cliff on RI. She too remained the rest of the day.
At 0923 M38 hauled out to join Pua on the left flats . He would reenter the water at 1051, only to haul out at 1100 to Nani, where he remained the rest of the day.
At 1033 on a pan I found Kainoa (RN04) at the base of the Morning Glory, 50 ft right of 3BS. He would later move down to cool off, but remained all day.
Team Billand checked in at 0659 with the report of M&M (R020) doing her buoy thing at White Plains. She would haul out fronting the showers at 0735.
At 0904 the Billands advised that Haupu (RB24) was at Lagoon #12, KoOlina.
The highlight of my day came at 1021 with a call from Diane Gabriel who was reporting from Ka’ena Point. She reported RIP (RR70) and Temp401 (the female with the face wound from RI), Ka’ena & Kerby. She also saw a swimming head 5 minutes in on the Waianae side trail. Close examination of Diga’s original size tag shot shows it to be RL42. I had last seen Temp 401 at RI on 5-23 so I was kinda’ stressin’ on the girl. Her face wound is most definitely healing and look much better. SO glad this girl is healing and has shown she has an amazing ability to survive.
At 1206 Team Billand reported Kolohe (RW22) & RI37 together at Secrets, KoOlina. This too was great news. Kolohe had been home to RI for an extended visit but had disappeared as of 5-24. RI37 had also been last seen on 5-24 at Diamond Head by Colleen, with RIP. I can’t help but wonder if she and Kolohe made the trip back together.
At 1320 the Billands called to advise that Eileen had reported U’ilani (RN36) and Buster (RV08) at the Reef Runway.
At 1401 Dana called with the report of T21M somewhere between Haleiwa and Waimea Bay. Awaiting further info and photos.
Mahalos to Diane T for a long day, hangin’ with the Billands and the Monk Seal cast. Once again Team Billand remains on the beach with M&M at White Plains. Check the blog in the morning for their day.

Temp 401 and Ka'eana - please be aware Temp 401 facial wound is severe... although she is healing and I can't imagine what it looked like to start with - I am continuously amazed at these animals ability to heal and survive the elements.... now if us humans can stop messing things up!
