The tide was very low on our way out to the point and was nearly at it's max height at the end of the day.
Our first seal was RO40 "Ka'ena" logging in his pool. He was still there when we left.
RW22 "Kolohe" was hauled out on the outer reefs of the main pool. He made have moved once during the time we observed him.
RL42 was high on a rock on the left side of the Main Beach. She was stretching and moving around a lot, then decided to go for a swim. She opted to haul into the Main Pool, checked it around and went into a deep sleep.
After doing a lot of outreach we started to head back. Totally by chance we came up on Temp 402 "Squinty"on a location not far from where I have seen him in the last couple of weeks. He was sleeping peacefully.
We made it to birth beach / Mokuleia mid afternoon. RN58 "Luana" was hauled out near the waterline . A young couple was on the beach not far from her - all three seemed to be enjoying their sunbathing in a perfect coexistence scenario.
"Luana" has 2 very interesting green tear lines down her face. It looks like they were painted on. Aloha, Lesley
