5-22-2014 DB's Dailies: Benny@KBP, Kainoa,Kolohe,Nani, Pua&U/F @ RI, M&M@WP, Kekoa@RR

On my 3rd look at Kaupo Beach Park, at 0837, I found Benny (RE74) snoozin’ on the off shore rocks, very near yesterday’s haul out location. He has remained all day. I picked up the signs at 1830. Benny was still there but nearly invisible floating in the shallow water along side the off shore rocks.

 At 0914 I found what would prove to be Kainoa (RN04) just hauling out to 2BS on Rabbit Island. He has remained all day.

 At 0943 , on a routine pan I found Kolohe (RW22) just hauling out to the far left end of the beach on Rabbit Island. Thankfully his right side “cue ball” bleach was clearly visible.

 At 1154 Gayle called with the report of Buster (RV08) at China Walls. Thank you Gayle ! The waves were most definitely crankin’. Looking around the corner to see him was a life threatening experience. 

At 1320 what proved to be Nani (RK60) hauled out to join Kolohe at the left end of RI. Happily her “N60" bleach was clearly visible.

On a 1742 check of RI I found Pua (RF34) at the far left end of the beach, and an U/F with 2 red tags, out on the left flats.

 At 0650 Team Billand reported M&M (R020) at the Snack Shack, White Plains.

 At 1055 they found Kekoa (RK72) at the birth beach, Reef Runway.

 My #2 son, Mojo (RI17) turns 10 today. They grow up so fast !! Happy Birthday Mojo !!!
