On a pan at 1042 I discovered a animal between the 1st and 2nd caves, at the right end of RI. Sighting there are rare. It would take 3 hours but it would prove to be Aukai (RL12). ID was by her N12 bleach.
At 0709 Team Billand reported an overnighted Kermit (R012) at Wind Sock. He was gone on their 1340 check.
At 1143 volunteer Trudy advised the Billands of the arrival of an animal to Tower#2, White Plains. The Billands would confirm the Haupu (RB24) ID at 1428.
At 1548 the Billands reported RIP (RR70) and Kerby (RW08) at Maili Pt. Beach goers advised that there had been yet another animal there earlier.
Dana checked in a 1600 with word of La’akea (RK82) and RI37 at Right Spot’s Spot, Turtle Bay. She further advised that Meli was happy and well at the birth beach.
In the Yesterday’s News department, Kimo Smith got cable back and sent Ka’ena Point shots from yesterday’s trek. He found Ka’ena (R040) at his tide pool, and Luana & the new little female together on the back beach. On the way home he found R018 at Mokuleia Beach Park.
Kimo did another KP run today, and found Ka’ena (RO40), Luana (RN58) & RL42.

We all know this is sooo wrong... but again there are times when I am reminded unless people are made aware... they really don't know they are doing something wrong. I mention this here because this is a typical photo opp.... seal sleeping... and a person kneels close by.
