Thanks to the lovely ladies at KoOlina and Kapolei, for taking the time of your busy schedule to watch over the two seals at Paradise Cove.
We did what we could in the early morning before all the Visitors came. We knew it would be a zoo, so we made the perimeter big. And we also know it was Rips first visit to KoOlina...so...his behavior was ansi and always checking if Pohaku was there. He is a large seal..and he is persistant, as MALES are. I am truly surprised both seals remained till 6:30pm.
Again, thanks Ladies for your work, each of you are appreciated.
I heard there were boogie boards, paddle boards, people with rubber tubes at the Cove...wow, that area is so small to have so much activity..but thanks to you all, the seals got the rest they needed before moving on.
