At 0600 we found Irma & Pup (R010) (D#9) already in what would be the tide pool except at this point in the tide there was no tide pool. Witnesses available said they were already in the water when they arrived at 0540. They remained there until hauling out from 0655-0710 for a feed, followed by a snooze from 0714 until 0750. At 0857 with the pup in the lead they began moving down again, doing another water session in the now high tide , tide pool at 0808. I had to make a Sandy Beach run, but when I got back at 1042 they were technically still wet, but on the fringe of the tide pool doing a feed. A check of the log book showed at Irma & Pup did another 2 hr swim in the tide pool, and did 2 more feeds.
