7-25-2013 DB's Dailies: Irma&Pup(D#21)@AD, Kaiwi&Buster@BF, Kainoa@RI, R5AY@ Hauula, U'ilani&Ewa Girl@RR, R912@KP

At 0600 we found Irma&Pup (D#21) (halfway home!), snoozin’ on the rock flats fronting the tent at AD’s. Except for a feed from 0746 - 0820, that pretty much explains my shift. The log showed another feed and a snooze

Gayle called at 1415 on her Irma shift to advise that Irma & Pup were now 150 ft west of the west end perimeter fence. I hurried down and Gayle, Vikki and I put up a temporary cordon, and then dismantled the far east end of the SPZ and erected a new west end extension to the SPZ. Ya’ done great guys.... we are a hell of a fence building machine !!! Vikki reported another feed just a closing time.

　

The above mentioned Gayle was also on it earlier in the day, calling at 0959 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) and Buster (RV08) together at Buster Flats.

　

I managed to get in a few Makai Pier minutes and found Kainoa (RN04) at the far left of Rabbit Island at 1218.

　

Dera called at 0700 to advise that Tati had called with confirmation of R5AY in Hauula.

　

Team Billand did the Reef Runway check today, and reported U’ilani at the birth beach, and mama Ewa Girl at Gate #317.

　

Barbara would check in again ate 1435 with the report of R912) at the 20 minute mark on the Waianae side KP trail.

　

Afternoon mail from Val Bloy, my favorite Kauaian, brought shots of Rocky’s son, today, at Larsen’s Beach.
