7-15-2013 DB's Dailies: Irma&Pup@AD, Kaiwi@RI, Buster@SC, RIP,Pohaku&Haupu@PC, Ewa Girl@WSK, Kolohe@Maili Pt

At 0600 we found Irma&Pup (D#11), high on the beach, mid SPZ, in snooze mode. They would wake up and do a feed from 0620-0647. They would begin the move down at 0716 and spent 1 ½ hrs in the tide pool from 0729 - 0913. With SE winds and a rising tide there really was no tide pool, but the kid did just fine in the rough water, and all activity was within the tide pool. Once again today Irma tried a feed in the shallows but the wave action made that impossible. She moved up to dry sand and they did a feed from 0921 - 0942. They were in snooze mode when I departed at 1000. According to the log there were 4 additional feeds, and one more tide pool water session.

Kimo Smith called at 0753 with the report of Buster (RV08) doing 8 minute dives at Spitting Cave.

When I got to Makai Pier at 1137 I found Kaiwi (RK96) on the water front rocks of Seal Rock Inlet, at the right end of Rabbit Island.

Team Billand called at 0605 with the report of Haupu (RB24) on the right side of the Paradise Cove beach.

At 0643 they reported the arrival of RIP (RR70)&Pohaku (RO28) to the left side of Paradise Cove. RIP & Pohaku departed at 1820.

Ocean Safety called at 1235 with the report of an animal at "Depots" Nanakuli. The animal was gone when the Billands arrived.

At 1254 Team Billand found Ewa Girl (RS00) at Wind Sock.

At 1355 the Billands reported Kolohe (RW22) at Maili Point.
