7-16-2013 DB's Dailies:Irma & Pup @ AD (D#12), Buster@SB, Ewa Girl & Benny@WSK, 2AW@PFS

At 0600 we arrived at AD’s to find Irma & Pup (D#12) already in the tide pool.

A witness said they had entered the water at 0550. Once again it was rough conditions with a rising tide, so there wasn’t much of a pool there, but the pup handled just fine. They hauled out to the water line at 0806 and attempted a wet feed, but with the wave action it just didn’t work, so another move up was required. They did a feed from 0808-0830. They attempted a snooze session but again were being worked by the shore break so Irma lead the way back to the tide pool where they did another water session from 0855-0940. They had just hauled out to a couple of body lengths above the water line when I got another call at 0957. Log entries show lots of snooze time, and 5 additional feeds. They managed to get wet a the water line, but no full tide pool swims were indicated.

　

At 0957 Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal just hauling out to the east end of Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1004 I found Buster (RV08) with his adoring hordes nearly standing on him. I got him cordoned off, and he has remained the rest of the day. Buster rolled to the sea at 1810.

　

Despite 2 Rabbit Island checks I came up zero again today.

　

At 0804 Team Billand reported Ewa Girl (RS00) once again at Wind Sock. At 1430 the Billands advised that Benny (RE74) had joined Ewa Girl.

 　

At 1230 they reported 2AW at Pray For Sex.

 

Donna called at 1622 to advise that she had spent quality time with Kekoa (RK72) and U'ilani (RN36), together at the Reef Runway. Check the blog in the morning for her shots.
