On my 0730 check she hadn't
been there, but on my next look at 0820 I found Kaiwi (RK96) snoozin' in the
Naupaka at Kaiwi Kove. She has remained all day. At 1740 Kaiwi threaded her way
through the gnarly rocks, and set off for another night's adventure.
At 1013 Team Billand checked
in with the report of Kermit (R012) fronting #1944 at White Plains.
At 1421 they found T15M near
Access #186D in Ewa Beach.
Sadie and Kolohe @ play
Nani, Sadie & Kolohe
Kaiwi @ her favorite spot at the Kove
this little girl sure like the rocky road
Kermit at white plains with a surfer braving the weather and water
splish
splash
enough of that
T15 aka sharkbite
Is this the 1st time he's been to Ewa Beach (that we know of?)
T15 and some dudes hanging out

Great interaction shots on R.I. Nice to see all together and just playing around as buds.
No Sharkbite has been to Ewa Beach lately, starting last year. And he been to Plains and Kalaeloa too. I dont know why he been hanging out at these spots, but, we did notice he showed up on the day the great white was spotted OFF KAENA PT.
And maybe being he is 27 or so, maybe he cant remember where or how to get back out there...alztimers??? Dementia?? WHo knows, but I love having him with us, such a great seal to observe. He has this coolness about him and he knows exactly whose around...he pays attention to everything. HE likes going very high up shore to the greenery at night, dont like getting hit with the waves much. Thats the neat part, watching him move with that one flipper..quite amazing.
Wouldnt ya know, Kermit arrived after we left, but thanks to the lifeguard who called, we went right back to rope the bugga off.
Those shots of Kaiwi daily, PRICELESS. Just adorable..and so enjoyable to look at. She is a beauty!!!
