3-8-2012 DB Dailies: Sadie,Nani&Kolohe@RI, Kaiwi@SB, Kermit@WP, T15M@Ewa Beach

It was yet another windy, rainy, cold & crappy day in the Monk Seal world. On my first look at Rabbit Island at 0729 I found what would prove to be Sadie (RB12), left of 1BS. (AND you still managed to get some great shots of Rabbit Island and the cast of characters.) When I got back at 1221 she was no longer there, but I found Nani (RK60)and Kolohe (RW22) interacting fronting 1BS. At 1240 Kolohe would alert to something in the water that I could not see. He hurriedly entered the water. A few minutes later I spied Kolohe and what would prove to be Sadie, playing in the near shore waters fronting 1BS. They would haul out together at 1334, and continued to play for a bit. Ultimately Sadie would move back up to her starting location for the day, to the left of 1BS. Kolohe was right behind her all the way. Nani just watched as they moved by her.

On my 0730 check she hadn't been there, but on my next look at 0820 I found Kaiwi (RK96) snoozin' in the Naupaka at Kaiwi Kove. She has remained all day. At 1740 Kaiwi threaded her way through the gnarly rocks, and set off for another night's adventure.

At 1013 Team Billand checked in with the report of Kermit (R012) fronting #1944 at White Plains.

At 1421 they found T15M near Access #186D in Ewa Beach.
