This day was a very special time for Rob and I. We took care of Kermit, educated folks at the cabins, who truely enjoyed THE FAT BOY.

Next got to enjoy the company of the ROYAL LADY..Ewa Girl, the Legendary Hawaiian Monk Seal From Midway. She is looking mighty fat these days..just gorgeous. And this time, we were at her departure time, along with some nice ladies. The disturbing part..a man walked right up to Miss Ewa Girl, with his LEASHED LABRADOR DOG!!!! FOR WHAT???

Next: The KoOlina/Paradise Cove mascot..Pohaku hauled up at the cove, causing excitement as usual. This is her territory seems..Miss linda Stenton came down to keep a watch along with April Tavares. thanks!!!

The last seal...a call came from DB seal at Yoks..so we went, after all the other seals were secured.

Ok, now this place is pouring rain, very muddy...TOURISTS GALORE walking about. I walked way out on the rocks, saw nothing..walked a bit back and TA DAA....THERE LAY A LITTLE SEAL. I ran back to the spot, looked..Dam, where the heck is that kid???? I went around this way, on the edge of the cliff, still couldnt see the seal.

It snorted!! Dam, there she is, L42, this adorable angel before me. Holy crap, she was well hidden. I flag Rob, we stare at this magnificent tiny Hawaiian Monk Seal with pride, with honor of being in her presence. I called DB, he is thrilled, excited, L42, N20 is found. I didnt realize it was missing in action. And Rob and I never met this precious seal, EVER! We only deal with the fat boy, Ewa Girl, Pohaku etc...Large seals. To see this cute kid, PRICELESS. I forgot how special a pup IS!!

And we both cant stay here, too many folks walking about in the mud and rain. Never saw so many people...so, got to leave this awesome baby..BEFORE SOME ONE ELSE SPOTS HER. NO...we want to observe her more. She is a great color of gray, very tiny, no more than 3 feet, body in mint condition...at least the top sections, she never moved. And that was a good thing, no one sees her.

I want more time with her...my heart feels JOY. What a great find. I thought of her allllllll night long.

Ok, time to get out on DA BEACH and find some critters...B
