At 0652 I found M38 at 1BS, and Kaiwi (RK96) at Rocky Right Beach, on Rabbit Island. M38's D#7 molt is 30%, Kaiwi's D#4 molt is 25%.
On my 0742 Spitting Cave check I found Rocky (RH58) for a second day, doing 7 minute dives.
When I got back to Makai Pier at 0915 I found that Kolohe (RW22) had now joined M38 to the right of 1BS, on RI.
There were 2 separate DOCARE responses to RI today. Both were met and dealt with, b DOCARE upon their return to Oahu.
Posse member Susan called at 1020 with the report of 2 animals at Spitting Cave. When I arrived at 1043 I found Rocky again, and a newly arrived Duke (RA12), doing 8 minute dives. His new N18 bleach, with girdle, as well as his epoxy patch were clearly visible. Thank you Susan !!
Team Billand checked in at 0813 to report Kermit (R012) checking out Nimitz Cove. He did not haul out, but instead began his journey to the east. At 0915 with the Billands following, he hauled out to Wind Sock, where he remained the rest of the day.
Dana called at 0843 with an initial report of R5AY on the beach at Hauula, however a later email from Dera and a new map showed that she was on the beach in Punaluu. I know that Dera responded and that Tatiana sent a photo, but for any of you unsung heroes that were there also........ Thank You !!!
Marilyn,Lesley,Ken,Martika,Melissa&Cassandra did the Ka'ena Pt trek today and found a 75% molted RIP, with Ka'ena (RO40) on the back beach, Noa (R6FI) on the rocks in the main pool, and R912 in the next pool to the right. Tourists coming in from the Yokes side said they saw "a green" animal on the way in. Awaiting photos.
Team Billand called at 1249 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Maili Point.
Kimo Smith headed toward KP from the west side after work. He found Benny (RE74) about a 3rd of the way in.

Duke @ Spitting Cave
I can just imagine how excited these folks must have been to see a seal swimming by.... We all know that's our Rocky.
R5AY resting after a little traveling around... hopefully she's finding some good eats in the area.
Kermit @ Wind Sock
Kermit bellowing for some attention
Pohaku RO28
