9-13-2012 DB Dailes: Aukai,Duke&Kolohe@RI, Irma@SB, Buster@LL, RL42&R912@Mokuleia, Kekoa@RR, UU@Laniakea

0540, and there was Irma (R010) right where I'd left her last night. I restrung the rope and day #3 of her Crappy Cove stay began. She has now been on the beach (Irma's & SB) for the last 5 days, with just 2 wet hours while she moved from Irma's to Crappy Cove. Is this pre-molting behavior ???? I looked up our history together, and the only year I could find that she was without child was 2009. In that year she molted on Sept. 22, so it may be the case. The bottom line is .... Only Irma Knows ! I picked up the rope at dark and called it a day. Irma remains.

Teri called at 0850 to advise that Buster (RV08) had done a quicky "drive by" at Lanai Lookout, and as is the case when he finds no Kaiwi, he continued his adventure.

At 1013 I found Kolohe (RW22) and Duke (RA12) together to the right of Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Kolohe' D#6 molt is 25%.

On a pan at 1030 I found Aukai (RL12) just hauling out to the Waimanalo end of left Point Beach on RI. The entire RI cast remained all day.

At 0746 Zeeny checked in to advise that RL42 was at the Mokuleia site, and that R912 was down the beach a ways. A later call said that she had seen some interaction between R912 and pup. Awaiting photos.

Dera called at 1220 to advise of an U/U at Laniakea, and also reported that Eileen had called to report Kekoa (RK72) at the Reef Runway.

Once again today, Team Billand was Monk Seal free in their neighborhood.... I can only imagine Team Billand is going through withdrawal.

 Hey Irma where's Kermit?
