9-10-2012 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Duke&Kolohe@RI, Kermit,Irma&Benny@Irma's, T21M@IRQ, R5AY&P@TB, Right Spot@Kahuku Pt, Kekoa&Ewa Girl@RR

At 0545 I found Kermit (R012) & Irma (R010) waiting for me at Irma's. They had moved up to the vegetation line over night. I redid the cordon and myself, Kimo,Z, Gayle and Kathy kept track of the dynamic duo through the day. They would move down to cool off around 0840, and remained all day.

At 1651 Zeeny called to advise that there was now a 3rd seal, outside the perimeter. When I arrived at 1659 I found Benny (RE74). Thereafter followed a 3 round battle between he and Kermit. I gave all 3 rounds to Kermit. Benny entered the water but tried a backdoor approach, which Kermit dealt with immediately. Benny ultimately entered the water at 1747 and swam off to the east. I doubt that we have seen the last of Benny.

At 0920 I found Kolohe (RW22) and Duke (RA12) at Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Kolohe's D#3 bleach is 10%.

At 0950 I became aware of Aukai's fat little head coming into view in a tide pool, along side Duke. She would haul out and remain with the boyz the rest of the day.

At 1103 Gayle called with the report of a 5 minute visit to Kaiwi's hangout at Lanai Lookout, by Buster (RV08). Not finding Kaiwi, he came...looked, and left.

Team Billand called at 0639 to advise that Clay Gates had reported T21M at Iroquois Point. Thanks also to Vera for the follow up call, and the shot.

Team Billand called at 1220 to advise that they'd spoken with Reef Runway posse member Eileen, who advised that both Kekoa (RK72) and momma, Ewa Girl (RS00) had been at the RR today. Charles' gang also retrieved EG's Critter Cam today.

Dera called at 1302 to advise that Karen Turner had once again seen a molting Right Spot (R016) and the Kahuku side of Kahuku Point. Karen will no doubt be sending photos.

Diga had an eventful day with R5AY&Pup, when the decided to haul out , outside the established zone.
